Designing an App to revolutionize online dating

BACKGROUND:

When it comes dating apps, there is current gap in the market after the connection between two individuals. In an effort to solve this, Parallel, a combination of a dating app and relationship building guide, has been created to guide intentional and honest first date conversations.

PROBLEM:

Brainstorm, Flow, and Design an IoS mobile app to bring Parallel to life. Additionally, conducting testing and implementing solutions & new features as they arise.

OBJECTIVES:

• To design an app that follows IoS design patterns

• To design an intuitive on-boarding process

• To design a pairing feature involving common dating conversation topics

• To create a way to log individual relationship intents and share with partners

• To conduct user research and implement findings

RESEARCH AND USER JOURNEYS

CURRENTLY:

I currently still work with Unveil Social on bringing the Parallel app new updates as we increase our user base and learn more about how we can improve. It is a fun project to be involved with and I like that it keeps me designing and learning.
